Max grew up in Morgantown, West Virginia and spent much of his childhood raising rabbit beagles with his dad and milking Guernseys at a neighbor’s farm. He attended Virginia-Maryland College of Veterinary Medicine with a focus on dairy production and large animal ambulatory medicine. In his free time he enjoys hunting, fishing, and hiking.
